On November 1, 2019 at the IAPD Best of the Best Gala, Hoffman Estates Park District won the Best Friend of Illinois Parks Award for the National Fitness Campaign.

Each month the HEParks Board of Commissioners honors a group or individual for their outstanding service to HEParks with the Best of Hoffman award. This month’s Best of Hoffman recipient is Mary Ellen Summerville.
