Foundation
The Friends of HEParks Foundation is a charitable organization*, created to fuel scholarships, fund adaptive programming, and provide community events so that everyone has meaningful access to recreation.
All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible as defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations or in-kind gifts may be contributed for specific purposes, or may be unrestricted to provide assistance where most needed.

Friends of HEParks exists to help everyone in our community feel better through a healthier, more connected lifestyle. Thanks to a dedicated group of community volunteers, funds are raised to help more residents experience the spirit of HEParks—our events, our programs, and the real moments we share when we unplug our devices and reconnect with our community.
Through the Friends of HEParks Scholarship Fund, we’re able to help finance recreational scholarships for at-risk families in the Hoffman Estates community, while also supporting special recreation projects within the park district.
We refuse to let money stand between our neighbors and the programming they need to help them stay healthier, happier, and more connected. From wheelchair-accessible buses to free family movie nights, our Fund supports access for all.

Money shouldn’t stand between your family and your community.
We are proud to be able to offer HEParks Foundation Scholarships to families in need. Funding can be awarded for any HEParks program, event, or membership, including a week of Summer Camp per child.
